After eleven enjoyable and productive years, Hein Velema decided to leave Feadship and move to Monaco as per the 1st of June.

Hein Velema was the Director of Feadship Holland and also, more recently, of the De Voogt Naval Architects. “I had two great jobs with the world’s greatest luxury yacht builder. My role has entailed travelling the world and experiencing many lifestyles and the South of France has long been a favourite destination. So when Fraser Yachts approached me to take on the role of worldwide Director of Sales and move to Monaco, I found the challenge too great to resist. Especially as my children are still young enough to quickly learn French and be excited about their new future” says Hein Velema.

Feadship is currently looking for a new director. The marketing of Feadship will be in the eminently capable hands of Francis Vermeer in Holland and Francois van Well in the US.
