Balk Shipyard has announced a contract for a 36.40 metre explorer superyacht due for delivery in 2012. The motor yacht will be designed by Felix Buytendijk Yacht Design.

Designed to have a range of 3500 nautical miles, the vessel is ice-classed and has accommodation for eight guests and a crew of five. Her maiden voyage, from Spitsbergen to Nova Zembla, will commence in the spring of 2012.
