Horizon has announced a new superyacht contract for a Horizon RP120 destined for the Chinese market – this is the second superyacht order above 100 feet for China. The first, a 110ft Raised Pilothouse motoryacht, completed her sea trails in August.
The Horizon RP120 will be the first yacht for its owner, a successful business man from Shanghai, China who compared the Horizon RP120 with similar sized superyachts from all over the world. After a thorough evaluation of the quality, build flexibility and customer service offered by Horizon, the owner placed the order for the RP120.
“Horizon is seeing tremendous growth in the Asian market,” says Horizon CEO John Lu. “We have seven superyacht projects currently under construction for this market alone. We are encouraged by the increase in new builds and are confident the Chinese market will be another success for Horizon.”
