Text and photo by Maarten Janssen The One cruising off Monaco Built as Carinthia VI by the German superyacht builder Lürssen, she was ordered to replace Carinthia V, which sank on her maiden voyage after hitting an uncharted rock off the Greek coast. Carinthia VI has become a real icon in the world of superyachts, her design by Jon Bannenberg has inspired many other superyachts such as Limitless, and her own replacement, Carinthia VII. After she was sold, she was renamed The One. |
