Diana Yacht Design unveils 28 metre superyacht Diana Blu
By Maarten Janssen
Diana Yacht Design has unveiled plans for a contemporary, sturdy but elegant 28 metre motoryacht. We first learned about this project when we talked to the Dutch designers at the Hainan Rendezvous in China, but the design team can now unveil more details.
The 28 metre Diana Blu, designed for long range cruising, will be able to accommodate up to 8 guests. She has been designed as a family cruiser, but will equally be suited for the charter market.
Down below, she offer 4 guest suites, a large owner’s stateroom, a double VIP, and two identical twin cabins, all with private en-suites. Large oversized portholes fill the guest accommodation with natural light and provide beautiful views.
The crew accommodation consists of two 2 cabins, which offer space to 3 crew members. Guests are ensured total privacy, as the crew have their own dedicated stairs from their accommodation up to the wheelhouse and galley.
The main deck offers guests a large main salon, with a L-shaped sofa aft, and a more formal dining room setting forward. An al fresco dining area that easily handles up to ten guests, is located on the aft deck.
On the sun deck, we find a Jacuzzi, several seating area’s and a fully equipped bar. A large fixed bimini offers plenty of shade, making this the ideal spot to spend long hot summer days.
