This new 60 metre superyacht concept comes from the boards of architects Alessandro Pannone and Francesco Malinconico of Pama Design. The two designers set themselves the objective of finding the right balance between harmony, elegance and functionality.
The concept yacht they came up with, features a large glazed surface that wraps the sleek looking yacht. Her vertical bow carries a large helicopter landing pad, and features a hidden tender garage.
The area aft of the helipad, in front of the bridge, is used to create a guest lounging and sunbathing area, and includes a large pool. Although placing large pools on the foredeck is not something new, superyachts such as the 1998 Thunder B, and more recently the Palmer Johnson DB9, the Lürssen Ace and the Feadship Air all feature large pools on the foredeck, it is still a relatively rare feature. Another rare feature in this design, is the stern observation room, located just above the waterline.
Inside, there is a strong 1950’s feel, where contemporary design meets glamour. American walnut. polished surfaces, brass and chrome details all work together in a classic tale of symmetry. The designers tell me “The project is intended to be noticed, not only for the beauty of the exterior design, but also for her sophisticated designer interiors designed by Valerio Romondia”.
