The designers at Rhoades Young have produced a 120m design concept with one very unusual attribute. This rarefied vessel incorporates a landing strip and hanger for the world’s first civil tilt-rotor aircraft, the BA 609. Additionally, the yacht looks like no other, reflecting the individual spirit a client in this league would possess. 
After winning the NMMA international yacht design competition as an engineering student in 1996 Bill Prince worked as a design engineer for three of the world's premier yacht designers and builders; Michael Peters Yacht Design, America's Cup winner Ted Hood and Island Packet Yachts. Recently Bill opened his own yacht design studio. 
Superyacht brand Palmer Johnson has now released a preview of the latest addition to their successful semi-custom sportyacht line. With the flagship PJ 170 set to be released in the spring of 2010, Palmer Johnson is again setting the standard with this finely detailed designed interpretation of the ultimate modern Superyacht. 
Nearly two years after the introduction of its highly successful LSX Seventy Five, Lazzara Yachts is announcing its plans for the completely redesigned follow-up, the LSX Ninety Two, scheduled to launch Fall 2008. The award-winning Lazzara product-development team didn’t just want to build a bigger LSX 75, they wanted to reinvent it. 
The new Performance Cruiser range of the Van Dam Nordia shipyard has proven to be a successful concept even far before the launch of the first yacht. With the first 70’ Performance Cruiser in the final stage of construction and the second 70’ Performance Cruiser hull nearly finished to be outfitted, the range has somewhat of a flying start.
