Kingship Marine Limited, one of the top megayacht builders in Asia, has recently released a new design developed in partnership with Dutch design firm, Vripack International. After six years of collaboration on Kingship 90, 110, 125 and 131 projects, the yard announced it is stepping up its relationship with Vripack with a 138’ modern designed luxury yacht.
The new 138 is clearly showing the recognizable lines of contemporary class. Vripack and Kingship have developed a design with clean strong shapes. Careful attention is given to the interaction between the inside and outside; a lot of the exteriors will have multi-functional arrangements to ensure maximum integration. A few interesting features include an outside balcony adjoined to the owner's stateroom and a full beam sky lounge to create even more indoor living space. Capacious outer decks contribute to an enjoyable life outdoors.
The tri-deck Kingship 138 is designed as a full displacement hull, with transoceanic range, to be built in steel with aluminum superstructures. The construction will be started towards the end of 2009. As with others in the kingship series, it will be built to Lloyds and MCA requirements.
Sanlorenzo has a reputation of offering an unrivalled level of customization, which results in the fact that there are never two Sanlorenzo Yachts that are the same. This has been clearly demonstrated by the unique five-stateroom SL104 planing yacht, that will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) this week. Read More
