With a rich past and present to be proud of, Feadship also places great emphasis on seeing into the future. Each year it unveils a concept yacht that fuses advanced design, technological and engineering insights with the latest thinking on how upcoming generations of owners will enjoy life at sea. This year, Feadship presents a Future Concept Feadship that takes eternity into account.

Earlier this month, I was invited to the De Voogt offices in Haarlem, to get a sneak preview of Feadship's 2009 concept. After introducing the C-stream, F-stream and X-stream platforms in 2008, 2007 and 2006, Feadship managed to come up with a highly exciting, yet very realistic new platform for 2009: Aeon.

Feadship took the name Aeon as the starting point for a new vision on luxury motoryachting. The results may well have a long-lasting effect on the way we perceive and enjoy life on and in the oceans.
