Oceanco made its presence felt at the 2010 Abu Dhabi Boat Show by showcasing its full range of 60m, 80m, 90m, 110m and 120m projects as well as its impressive scale models with a hybrid propulsion system option ensuring minimum fuel use and maximum power.
The Oceanco stand was very well visited. Its latest yacht under construction, the 85.60m Igor Lobanov-designed Y708 which is available for delivery in 2012, attracted particular interest. She complies with the latest environmental regulations and engineering standards whilst providing for extreme comfort and luxury. One of her most innovative features is a completely private owner’s deck. Also, as with previous Oceanco yachts, her spacious swimming pool converts into a helicopter landing area.
During a high-profile launch event on the first day of the show, Oceanco disclosed its collaboration with Weyves Couture and Elie Saab, the world-renowned Lebanese couturier, for the development and realization of a unique 117m project. The magnificent 117m (384.78ft) ES117 megayacht is as impressive in its dimensions as in the elegance of its design.
On display at the Oceanco stand were also the 110m Sam Sorgiovanni design (PA104) and the 120m (PA122) designed by Nuvolari & Lenard.
All projects displayed the characteristics that distinguish Oceanco’s reputation for innovative design, smart engineering and advanced technology carefully tuned to the lifestyle of her owner.
The Research Vessel (RV) Pegaso just made her debut in Monaco and gave the world a glimpse into her Global Mission for Marine Conservation. Her oceanographic capabilities are impressive: 5-person Diver Lockout submarine, Ice Class notation, 10,000 nautical miles at 12 knots, wet/dry laboratory, and separate scientist quarters. Read More
