After winning the NMMA international yacht design competition as an engineering student in 1996 Bill Prince worked as a design engineer for three of the world's premier yacht designers and builders; Michael Peters Yacht Design, America's Cup winner Ted Hood and Island Packet Yachts. Recently Bill opened his own yacht design studio. 
Superyacht brand Palmer Johnson has now released a preview of the latest addition to their successful semi-custom sportyacht line. With the flagship PJ 170 set to be released in the spring of 2010, Palmer Johnson is again setting the standard with this finely detailed designed interpretation of the ultimate modern Superyacht. 
Nearly two years after the introduction of its highly successful LSX Seventy Five, Lazzara Yachts is announcing its plans for the completely redesigned follow-up, the LSX Ninety Two, scheduled to launch Fall 2008. The award-winning Lazzara product-development team didn’t just want to build a bigger LSX 75, they wanted to reinvent it. 
BMT Nigel Gee Ltd, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, has introduced a new high-speed Pentamaran concept to the large yacht market, Project Véloce. Project Véloce is based on a 130m platform capable of over 40 knots. The beam of 30m offers significantly more internal area than on an equivalently sized monohull. 
With two superyachts, the Sunreef 102 Double Deck and the Sunreef 114, already under construction, Sunreef Yachts announces its latest design, the 150 foot One Fifty by Sunreef coming in response to what the company sees as a continuing demand for the special combination of luxury and performance offered uniquely by a catamaran. 
Set at 180ft, this modern Vripack Explorer is designed with one primary goal: provide the guests that charter her an unforgettable holiday. To achieve this, the yacht is not only equipped with the expected toys. The architects have also touched all the vital areas from cabins to storage and from galley to comfort at sea. 
The Warwick 45 meter sloop offers a simple clean design expression with large open deck space and single level main saloon with eye level seating, bar, dining for eight and large sliding roof. A full width master stateroom aft with separate office and spacious ensuite and two guest staterooms are located below decks aft. 
Setzer Design has announced the premier of “S-70,” one of 16 futuristic designs from 30m to 80m to be introduced this summer as the award-winning superyacht design studio completely rewrites its own successful play book. This new flagship design offers a glimpse of what is emerging as the Cary, NC-based studio introduces its new “Vision Line.” 
The new 55m Explorer by Van Geest Design is designed for worldwide cruising in all climates and environments. Powered by twin diesel engines she can cruise at a comfort 12 knots with a range of 5000 nautical miles. The lay-out of this steel hulled yacht offers her owners and 10 guests full privacy and ample entertaining areas. 
The new Performance Cruiser range of the Van Dam Nordia shipyard has proven to be a successful concept even far before the launch of the first yacht. With the first 70’ Performance Cruiser in the final stage of construction and the second 70’ Performance Cruiser hull nearly finished to be outfitted, the range has somewhat of a flying start. 
Given their experience and resources in building yachts at the top of the size range for bespoke construction, Devonport is extremely pleased and excited to present details of a wonderful new 108m yacht design referred to as the Devonport One Ten, in collaboration with Redman Whiteley Dixon, who have provided the full design styling.
