Adam Voorhees unveils two new superyacht designs with Lürssen
Friday, 27 August 2010
Working in close collaboration with Lürssen, Adam Voorhees will be releasing two new designs at the Monaco Yacht Show. The first design project is the 91 meter Aurora project, a further development of Adam Voorhees’ award winning design.
Based on the proven Lurssen platform, Aurora is an exploration of new ideas for multifunctional spaces, interior and exterior living, and an innovative form language: the exemplary expression of the yachting lifestyle.
The full design will be unveiled in the Lurssen Stand at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The second project, Genesis, describes a new trajectory for the nautical environment and a shift in thinking that defies convention from every angle. The yacht explores an avant-garde territory of style and elegance. The juxtaposition of formal rigor to natural curves and reflections creates a harmony with her surroundings. With an unmistakable and dynamic form language, Genesis is sure to capture the imagination of all who see her.
Genesis boasts a 110m length, 16m beam, 22 knot cruise, and diesel-electric propulsion. She will accommodate 16 guests and 40 crew with extensive formal and informal living spaces.
Sanlorenzo has a reputation of offering an unrivalled level of customization, which results in the fact that there are never two Sanlorenzo Yachts that are the same. This has been clearly demonstrated by the unique five-stateroom SL104 planing yacht, that will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) this week. Read More
