French superyacht builder Chantier Naval Couach has teamed up with Cannes based yacht designer Jean Pierre Fantini for the interior design of the first Couach 5000 Fly. It’s not the first Couach yacht for Fantini as he previously worked on the design of the 24 metre La Desirade.
The semi-planning Couach 5000 is entirely built from reinforced Glass Kevlar Carbon and she will be able to reach a maximum speed of 30 knots. When cruising at a more moderate 12 knots, the yacht burns 200 litres of fuel per hour and has a transatlantic range of over 4,000 nautical miles.
Chantier Naval Couach is currently building two 5000 superyachts of which the first is expected to launch in March 2011.
Sanlorenzo has a reputation of offering an unrivalled level of customization, which results in the fact that there are never two Sanlorenzo Yachts that are the same. This has been clearly demonstrated by the unique five-stateroom SL104 planing yacht, that will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) this week. Read More
