Lantic Entertainment Systems, the leading developer and supplier of bespoke, multi‐zone entertainment systems for superyachts, has appointed distributors in Mallorca and the UAE.
Based in Palma de Mallorca, Maritime Network Systems SL ‐ part of the GIS Group ‐ will supply and service yards and yachts with Lantic systems in the western Mediterranean. MNS (www.maritimesystems.net) has been a leading regional supplier of VSAT, satellite TV and internet systems to commercial vessels as well as superyachts for over ten years.
Lambdamarine Ltd in Sharjah, UAE, will supply the same level of service to builders and operators in the Persian Gulf and surrounding area. A specialist in marine IT and electronics, Lambdamarine (www.lambdamarine.net) has over thirty years experience in the commercial and leisure marine sectors.
“We’re very pleased to have two such experienced companies representing us in these key regions,” said David Milner, Lantic’s head of marketing. “This is an important first stage of the global roll‐out of our enhanced distribution and service network, and we anticipate that yards and yacht managers will rapidly benefit from easy access to technicians trained in the installation and servicing of these sophisticated systems.”
Lantic will continue to maintain its remote diagnostics service that uses satcomms or the internet to diagnose and rapidly resolve most operating issues without the need for physical intervention. Technicians are generally only required for rare cases of hardware failure. Additional announcements on the appointment of further distributors will be made soon.
