Built by Lazzara Yachts in Tampa, Florida, in 2002, Stop The Press boasts speeds of up to 26 knots thanks to her twin MTU DDEC 16V-2000 main engines. Trac Marine stabilizers ensure her guests will have a smooth , stable ride. She is equipped with an up-to-date audio/visual entertainment system, including wireless internet throughout the boat.

The superyacht’s elegant interior, characterized by high-gloss woods with detailed moldings, accommodates eight to nine guests in four en-suite staterooms and a “bonus” cabin. The master suite, located amidships on the lower deck, features a walk-around king-size bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress, side windows with amazing views, a walk-in closet, full entertainment system with 42" Sony plasma TV and a private bathroom with Jacuzzi. Forward is a VIP stateroom with queen bed, and two double-bed staterooms are located to port and starboard. In addition, the fifth stateroom/study with sleep sofa adjoining the master suite is ideal for a nanny or staff member.

Stop The Press offers several outstanding options for entertaining on board. The main salon has a striking African cherry wood bar topped by black granite, along with a game table and comfortable conversation area. Two dining areas—one inside; the other on the aft deck—can seat the entire charter party, served by a separate galley with island prep station. The flybridge has everything guests need for open-air fun, including a Jacuzzi, bar with fridge and icemaker, lounge seating and a sheltering hardtop.

Available year-round for charters in Florida and The Bahamas, Stop The Press is offered at a low introductory rate of U.S. $44,000 per week, plus expenses.
