The St. Lucia Tourist Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation announces that all new revised policies have been approved by its government to help stimulate growth and development in St. Lucia’s yachting sector. Several proposals presented by Yachting Director Cuthbert Didier have been sanctioned and will facilitate clearing in and out of the country, as well as an ease on taxation and many other added benefits to encourage cruising in its waters. After months of campaigning, jet skis look set to be banned from the anchorage at Store Bay, Tobago. The Tobago House of Assembly (THA) announced last month it wants to ban the operation of jet skis on Tobago's south west peninsula, stretching from Store Bay right into Buccoo/Plymouth, taking in Mount Irvine and Pigeon Point. Specifically, they fly passengers from the airports of San Juan, St. Thomas, and Anitgua to the waters of the North Sound, Virgin Gorda, BVI. Excellent billfishing waters are a mere three miles from the entrance channel of Marina Cap Cana on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. White marlin have already begun biting with recent catches reported less than two miles from the main entrance channel and will continue to swim in the azure Caribbean Sea through June. Read More

After a successful Season Opening on the 20th of December 2008, it has been quite busy at Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada. So far for the season twenty super yachts of one hundred feet or over have visited and another fifteen are expected to visit for the rest of January alone. Read More

As a result of Camper & Nicholsons’ on going effort to clean up Port Louis Marina, Grenada has a new and rare tourist attraction to add to it’s collection of wrecks that serve as dive sights for scuba divers. The island currently boasts 16 wrecks and now a Cuban fishing vessel will become the 17th wreck in Grenada’s diving portfolio. Read More

Everyone knows about the Bahamas, an archipelago of 800 islands, miles of unspoiled pink sand colored beaches, clear tranquil turquoise waters, natures own virtual aquarium up close and personal.
