Due to our busy schedule we weren’t able to add many yachts over the last two weeks, but we did some extra yachts this week. While Maarten worked on the completed yachts, I updated the Benetti order book with 7 new Benetti Classic’s and 5 Benetti Tradition’s.
Two of the most interesting new orders are Marcelita and the new CRN order for a 80m superyacht. The 80m yacht is due for delivery in 2013 and when launched she will be the biggest CRN. We don’t know much yet about Marcelita, but we do know that she is 49.7m and under construction at Ortona Navi for delivery later this year. If you have more information about these or any others yachts under construction please contact us.
Two new completed yachts which are rarely seen are Amazon and Yia Sou!. The 36m Amazon was built by Day Summers in 1885, making her the oldest yacht in our database, to a design by Dixon Kemp. The yacht has spend most of her life in Scotland, but on this recent photos she was seen at the Sliema Creek in Malta.
Yia Sou! (the Greek word for “hello”) was built by Cheoy Lee in 1989 to a design of Jack Hargrave. This photo of the former Lenora D was taken in August 2006 in Greece, where the yacht is based.
