This week 31 superyachts were added to our database of yachts under construction, or on order, as well as 12 more yachts in the database of completed yachts, and finally 3 new concept models were added. BMT Nigel Gee and Associates presented their 130m Véloce concept this week, a highly futuristic pentamaran. Designed for high speeds under maximum stability, Véloce is set for speeds over 40 knots.

Kiring, added to our list of completed yachts, was launched in 1993 by the British yard Brooke Marine. She is a 34m explorer, with beautiful superyacht styling by Terence Disdale. She features a forward facing lounge, which doubles as a study, just above her bridge. With her tenders stored out of the way on the foredeck, which is well protected by her high bow, she has ample deck space for sunbathing and lounging on her aftdecks. Unusual for superyachts, Kiring does not have an dedicated owner's suite, yet features four equally sized staterooms below.
