Known as Project 58, she was designed to be a conservative European-style motor yacht with modern design features and timber detailing. Aegean Yacht, the Bodrum based shipyard well known for building steel gulets and motor yachts, announced plans for a 73 metre classic gulet, the Aegean 240 G. The Aegean 240 G will have a beam of 12 meters and a draft of 4.40 meters. When launched, the Aegean 240 G will be among the world’s largest sailing yachts. Construction is on plan for 2010.
