Inevitable – the rebuilding of a classic Feadship yacht

In March 2006 the US owner of Inevitable contacted De Vries Makkum with the request to refit his 1990 Feadship yacht Inevitable. A year before he had purchased the 51 meter yacht with the intention of rebuilding her to his own wishes. Moonen 85 refit requires temporary parking-lot structure

Moonen Shipyards announced the completion of a major five-month refit of one of its original "pocket-size superyachts," the fifth Moonen 85 Moonshadow Noa (ex Moon Shadow, launched in 1991). The Moonen 85 was designed by Diana Yachts in the early 1980s, with a graceful flared bow, canoe stern, and classic superstructure. Read More

Monaco Marine La Ciotat at full capacity

Officially opened in April 2007, Monaco Marine’s La Ciotat shipyard is reporting work at full capacity. Making full use of their 35 000 sqm of hard standing, Monaco Marine and their team are currently servicing no less than 9 yachts. The spring 2008 season promises to be equally successful with refit and repair work already planned for additional yachts. Read More
