Shanghai gears up for Asia's biggest boating awards

The 2008 Christofle Asia Boating Awards will take place on 11 April, during China's premier boating event, the China International Boat Show. Held at the glamorous Le Royal Meridien Shanghai, this event promises to be one of the key show dates for the most important names in luxury boating throughout Asia.

The 2008 Awards return to Shanghai to mark China's growing status in the ultimate luxury product – personal yachts. Sponsored by Christofle and organised by Blu Inc Media, publisher of Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines, the 2008 Awards will feature 21 categories:
• Best Asian Megayacht Builder (over 100 feet)
• Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder (70-100 feet)
