Trimline wins major refit project on motor yacht Nobla

Leading Southampton marine outfitting company Trimline has been selected to carry out a 14-month project to refit the motor yacht Nobla, formerly owned by President Gaddafi of Libya. The 45 m. yacht, built by Feadship in the Netherlands in 1975, has been lying at Ocean Quay on the River Itchen at Southampton for several years and is now owned by Russian interests. Work has already commenced on a large programme of work, involving a total refit of the interior in the owner’s and guest accommodation, the main saloon, dining saloon, Captain’s Much of the work will focus on returning the yacht to her past glory with a mixture of new furnishings and restoration of existing furniture and fittings. Seating will be re-upholstered and Nigel Spooner, Director Technical and Design, commented: “Following our major projects on the new build MY Samar and refurbishing the MY Illusion, this will be another major project to further Trimline 's reputation in the superyacht refit sector.
