Following her launch at the Kleven shipyard in Norway, the 107 metre explorer superyacht Ulysses made her way to Bremerhaven in Germany in August where she is currently being finished and outfitted by Dörries Maritime. One special feature of the yacht is her ability to carry a large amount of exploration craft and utilities, and none more impressive than her 21 metre tender.
The craft was custom built by Teknicraft in New Zealand to meet the owner's deep-sea fishing and comfortable cruising requirements. The tender is propelled by 4 water jets driven by quad engines. Inside is accommodation for 7 guests in 5 cabins. The tender will be stowed on Ulysses’s foredeck and served by an enormous crane fitted especially for this purpose.
