Less than a week after the unveiling of their 50 metre superyacht named Silver Lining, Christensen Shipyards has launched yet another 50 metre at their facility in Vancouver: this time the silver-hulled Chasseur.
Christensen reports that the two yachts will now embark on a series of river and sea trials ahead of delivery to their respective owners next month. Both yachts are also expected to make the journey to Florida in August where they will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in November.
“I really have to tip my hat to our boat builders, who have worked long hours — some of them more than a month straight without break — to enable us to keep to a tight launch schedule with an equally demanding delivery timeline to follow,” had company President Jim Gilbert to say. “It’s just another example of the new attitude at Christensen of getting the job done on time and on budget no matter what the challenge.”
