Superyacht Skat in Antigua

The 70 metre superyacht Skat was launched at the Lürssen shipyard in Germany in 2002. She is known for her distinct aggressive military appearance, which is the handy work of designer Espen Oeino. Marco Zanini designed her interior spaces, which were kept as simplistic as possible; following her functional military-like nature. Since her launch, Skat has been kept in pristine condition and has an excellent maintenance and refit history. She had recently completed an intense period of maintenance works at the Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman’s refit division where her onboard systems were serviced, teak decking replaced and hull and superstructure repainted.

She is currently moored in Antigua’s Falmouth Harbour, where the 54th Antigua Charter Show kicks off today and will continue until 10th December. In the background we see the iconic yellow funnel of superyacht Nero, which is attending the charter show this year.
