After only being for sale on the market for three months, Burgess have reported the sale of the 72m Viareggio Superyachts’ (VSY) Stella Maris. She features a design by the renowned Espen Oeino, with a matching contemporary interior by Michela Reverberi. Burgess worked in cooperation with Superyachts Monaco to finalise the deal.
Laurent Giles Naval Architects designed a platform that would house a number of advanced engineering features to set Stella Maris apart form her size-class. A high rated helicopter landing pad on the upper deck for instance is a rarity for a yacht of this size. Other features include electric auxiliary engines for in-port use during docking manoeuvres, and a sophisticated dynamic positioning system, allowing her to remain in position in ecological sensitive areas without the use of anchors.
