Following their recent apointment as the central agent for the sale of the 77.73 metre converted superyacht Lone Ranger, the sales team of Y.CO has listed another impressive and well-known superyacht, the 90 metre sailing yacht Athena.
Athena represents four years of spirited teamwork, combining the unique talents of Pieter Beeldsnijder for exterior and interior design with the flawless naval architectural skills of Gerard Dijkstra & Partners. With these two talented legends and Royal Huisman’s own group of dedicated craftspeople, the perfect shipbuilders ‘dream team’ was created and Athena has undoubtedly become part of yachting history.
At 90m (295ft), Athena is one of the largest sailing yachts launched since the 1930’s – the golden age of yachting which she reflects to her essence. Dwarfing most other yachts, she can outrun most of them too - at speeds of up to 19 knots her size does nothing to impede her efficiency.
A leviathan though she may be, Athena’s timeless interior makes an intimate playground for up to ten guests.
Athena is currently crossing the Atlantic and will arrive in the Meditteraen at the end of May. She has an asking price of $ 95,000,000.
