Admiral E Motion 55m Quinta Essentia launched

The Italian Sea Group shipyard spent the day yesterday launching their latest superyacht, the 55 metre Quinta Essentia. The largest yacht ever built by Admiral Yachts is now in the water in Marina di Carrara in Tuscany.

Apart from her distinctive exterior styling by Dobroserdov Design from Monaco, what sets Quita Essentia apart from other yachts in her size class is the use of an advanced hybrid propulsion system. This involves the integration of the two conventional diesel engines together with two electric motors which are connected to variable speed generators. Guests can now look forward to a silent experience on board knowing that the energy consumed is far cleaner than the surrounding yachts at anchor.

Michela Reverberi Studio undertook her sophisticated interior design which accommodates up to 12 guests over six generous staterooms, including the expansive owner’s suite on the main deck, a VIP cabin complete with a 180 degree panoramic view on the upper deck, and four cabins on the lower deck. These cabins can also be converted into two larger cabins for longer charters or special guests.

The yacht has been developed by a very experienced yachtsman and features naval architecture from the renowned Vripack. Powered by twin MAN engines, she has a top speed of 16.5 knots, with an impressive range of over 6,500 nm at a speed of 9.5 knots
