Athena in the Caribbean
Athena was built by Royal Huisman in 2004 to a design by the late Pieter Beeldsnijder, with naval architecture by Dykstra. For now, Athena holds on to her spot as the second largest private sailing yacht in operation until the 106-metre project Y712 and 142.8-metre Sailing Yacht A are delivered later this year. Athena was built for an experienced yachtsman and is often seen around the superyacht racing circuit, sometimes along with her owner’s high-performance sailing yacht, Comanche.
