During the 2017 Yachts Miami Beach show today, Benetti has announced that it is expanding its Now line of pre-developed and designed superyachts with a new FAST extension to the range. The new FAST models include three different variants measuring 50 metres, 56 metres, and 68 metres in length.
Benetti drafted a highly skilled team of designers to work together on each of the projects - Omega Architects for the exterior design, Mulder Design for the naval architecture, and Team 4 Design - Enrico Gobbi for the interior design elements. Key features of the line guarantees comfort, performance, and speed.
Each unit will be highly customizable in terms of interior layout, decorative touches, and level of performance. The overall style of the interiors, however, will be focused on enhancing livability in a luxurious and contemporary environment.
In terms of performance, Mulder Design created a ultra efficient hull shape that is said to deliver improved performance by 30%. The two larger versions, 56 and 68 metres, will be built with a strong steel hull while the 50-metre project has been designed with a aluminium hull. The overall benefits of the unique hull form offers owners a higher cruising speed while consuming less fuel.
