Benetti launches Cor D. Rover designed 67m Seasense

The 67-metre custom Benetti motor yacht Seasense was launched at Benetti’s shipyard in Livorno this week. The steel and aluminium project FB268 is built as the experienced owner’s first Benetti superyacht. Seasense will be handed over to her owner in July 2017, ready for a summer season of cruising.

Seasense is the first time Benetti has collaborated with Dutch designer Cor D. Rover, who is responsible for the exterior lines of the project. The owner selected Los Angeles design studio AREA for the interior design of his new yacht, which accommodates up to 12 guests.

Not only is her exterior something unusual for the Benetti brand, but Seasense is packed with a number of special features. A large pool on the main deck aft area will be the centre of attention in this spacious outdoor area that connects through oversized sliding doors to the main saloon, designed to interconnect seamlessly with the exterior deck spaces.

Seasense’s twin Caterpillar engines will push her to a top speed of 15.5 knots and can cover 5,000 nm at a speed of 12 knots.
