The renowned Italian superyacht builder Benetti has recently revealed their latest commercial successes, including a total of 9 yachts measuring up to 65 metres sold since September 2014, a new 63 metre custom yacht under construction, 45 units presently under construction, and a total of 19 yachts to be delivered over the course of 2015.
Of the nine superyachts sold over the last five months is a full custom 65 metre superyacht and one Veloce 140’ Fast Displacement Class vessel which was first introduced to the industry in 2012. The remaining seven yachts are displacement class boats, and all orders swiftly followed the sale of two superyachts of 100+ metres.
Of the 19 yachts scheduled for delivery this year, seven are custom projects over 50 metres, with the remaining twelve consisting of Class semi-custom units. The total of 45 yachts currently under construction span across the shipyard’s Livorno and Viareggio facilities.
According to Benetti, the continuous high level of commercial success the company has experienced has resulted in the decision to begin production of a 63 metre yacht on speculation. The idea is that clients with short delivery constraints will be able to be offered ownership of a large yacht in a relatively short amount of time.
