Turkish shipyard Bilgin Yachts have reached a pivotal stage in the construction of the second hull in their 156 line, when the steel hull and aluminium superstructure of 156-II was merged last week at their facility in Yalova, Turkey.
Once priming of the structure and all plumbing works have been completed, the vessel will be floated for the first time to be transferred to Bilgin’s yacht finishing facility. The Bigin 156 is designed by Unique Yacht Design with an interior by British studio H2 Yacht Design. Hull number one is already in an advanced stage of outfitting, and is expected to be launched later this semester.
