She accommodates up to ten guests over five luxurious cabins, including 2 large full-beam VIP cabins both fore and aft, 2 guest (twin) staterooms and an opulent, spacious owner’s suite which takes the full beam for walk-in closet, bedroom and huge en-suite bathroom. A crew of up to 9 including the captain is also accommodated for. Elsewhere inside is a large main salon with “zones” that provide a lobby, formal dining area (for 12 comfortably) and a sofa area with pop-up TV, creating the ideal space for relaxation, entertainment and sophisticated dining. The skylounge is located on the bridge deck, a special area indeed considering the space, volume and relaxed feel provided by this key area, particularly the 64 inch TV screen that pops up the way Dutch Builders excel-at.

In terms of her outside spaces, a Jacuzzi, bar and sun lounge area are all found on the upper deck, . All aft decks are fresh and airy (or with moveable wind-breaks if you wish..) and surprisingly spacious, along with the fold-down bathing platform at the transom which creates yet another zone right next to the water’s edge. Additional amenities on board include a sauna in the tender garage, full AV/IT system, high power internet capabilities and SAT TV, thus ensuring a relaxing and luxurious experience on board. Powered by twin MTU 8V 4000 M70 engines, she has a maximum speed of 16.4 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 3,300 nm at a speed of 12 knots.

Why do we think this is such a great deal?
Mon Plaisir is an exceptionally well-maintained displacement steel hulled yacht built by the renowned Dutch shipyard, Heesen Yachts. Comfort and efficiency were a clear priority when designing the vessel and the owner invested without fixed budget throughout her build; interior hardware and panel trimmings include Sterling Silver throughout, Elmo leather finish, Calacatta marble, American walnut wooden flooring. This level of attention to detail and “special touches” are seldom seen in comparative yachts and are just a few touches that elevate Mon Plaisir from the 47 metre Series.
