Burgess sells 125m superyacht berth in Genoa

Burgess and Inwards Marine have announced the sale of a 125m x 25m berth at Marina Genova Aeroporto, in Genoa, Italy - the largest berth in the marina. This sale represents one of the largest berth sales in recent times in the Western Mediterranean and is the largest berth ever sold in Italy.

With the number of 80 metre plus yachts under construction constantly rising, the demand for large yacht berths in strategic locations is set to become problematic, increasing whilst availability remains restricted.

Sales Director of Burgess in Monaco, Rupert Nelson, represented the buyer. He comments, “With at least 15 new orders of 100m+ yachts scheduled for delivery within the next few years, these extremely large berths with attractive leaseholds are becoming prime real estate and are a serious factor for owners and captains to consider very carefully.

Marina Genova Aeroporto can accommodate over 100 yachts from 25m to 100m+ with a lease until 2052 and is ideally located just 75 nm from Monaco and 20 nm from Portofino.
