CMN has unveiled more details about the futuristic look of Project One, which was first presented in preview at the 2011 Abu Dhabi Yacht Show. Created by CMN in-house design team, the new concept boasts an interior space normally found on much larger yachts. The impressive vertical bow ending on the long foredeck which meets the superstructures far aft contributes to create a slender profile.
By its unique design, the super yacht One has the volume of much larger yachts of around 70 to 75 metres, allowing a very high end level of services but still with the ability to reach remote places and entering small harbours. One features a vertical bow with a long foredeck and fluid exterior lines that contribute to her slender profile, while aiding to the practical operation of the vessel, confirmed by extensive tank testing. The foredeck can also accommodate a Eurocopter EC135 platform, with a lazarette located underneath that houses an open tender and an eight-metre limousine tender.
The general arrangement is in adequacy with the new trends of on board living without compromising functionality: the multiplication of the In-Out arrangements for a totally unique layout allows living a fabulous experience with the outside environment, the sea, the sky and the horizon.
One of the main differences with a conventional yacht design lies in the four guest suites located on main deck, together with a dining room and a lounge, wide opening on the outside. The aft upper deck is fully dedicated to the owner with a master suite of 74m² and a large terrace of 26m² including a private Jacuzzi. Adjacent to the master suite are two VIP suites and the owner’s office.
The sun deck forward offers a large swimming pool surrounded by sun pads, a lounge, a bar, a dining room and sunbathing deck chairs.
The Beach Club on the yacht stern offers a lounge, a bar, gym area and ends on the large swimming platform. Foredeck on the yacht, a platform can accept a helicopter for private use. A lazarette located under the platform accommodates an open tender dedicated to water sports and a large limousine tender of eight metres.
One can be fitted with hybrid propulsion. She will achieve a maximum speed of 16 knots with two 1640 kW diesel engines and 6 knots with the electric auxiliary motors. A full diesel electric propulsion system could also be fitted.
