Held from 17th to 18th November at Kee Club in Hong Kong, the very first edition of Azimut/Benetti YachtMaster Asia saw Azimut/Benetti superyacht Captains and industry professionals celebrates 16 years of success of the YachtMaster event.
The two day event took place at Kee Club, an exclusive membership club in the heart of the city where a full day conference took place on the first day, followed by a fine dining experience in the famous Lan Kwai Fong area. The second day saw participants undertake team building activities at the Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club, in which several Benetti superyachts were located.
YachtMaster Asia is part of the new YachtMaster project that intends to keep the Azimut/Benetti community in constant communication by means of workshops and stages regarding relevant professional issues. The project is composed of three major events over the course of 12 months, including local meetings in Asia in 2015, and the U.S. in 2016. These are in addition to the European Azimut/Benetti YachtMaster event, which will be held from the 3rd to 6th of February.
Natalie Ye, Marketing Manager at Benetti Asia and local organiser of the event in Hong Kong comments on Asia’s inaugural edition, stating: "After the great success of Yacht Master in Europe and the U.S., last November we were in Hong Kong to welcome the first edition of YachtMaster Asia. As Benetti, we welcome all the superyacht captains, chief engineers, surveyors and owner’s reps to join our events and share the joy with sponsors, partners and the yachting media in the region to witness the success.”
