Darnet Design has revealed the very first interior renderings of the 63.8-metre superyacht currently under construction at the Viareggio SuperYacht facilities in Italy named VSY - 003. The vessel features exterior design from Espen Oeino International with naval architecture undertaken by Laurent Giles.
The Darnet Design studio describes the interior as elegant and timeless, with Franck Darnet working closely with the owner to encapsulate his lifestyle within the design. Inspiration was taken from the owner’s superyacht, also designed by the team at Darnet, in which airy spaces and warm colours dominated.
A passionate scuba diver, the owner also requesting a diving centre onboard with the marine environment being a central theme throughout her design. Elsewhere, the outdoor lounges and the sun deck, entirely dedicated to wellbeing and relaxation, offer large comfortable spaces, with plenty of seating and a large sunbathing area.
Commenting on the project, Franck Darnet told SYT: "Our clients are our greatest source of inspiration. My purpose is not only to create an excellent design, but also to customise the interior according to the personality and the lifestyle of my clients. Here, it's our client's taste for diving that we have highlighted through different decorative features and inserts. These representations of deep-sea corals and marine environment, shaped as works of art, give its DNA to this yacht."
The sistership of Seayon and RoMa, completed in 2009 and 2010 respectively, delivery is expected at the end of 2018.
