Y.CO today announced that the freshly delivered 55 metre superyacht Elixir is now available for charter, allowing us take a first look on board Amels’ latest vessel. Part of the successful Amels 180 range, Elixir’s masculine exterior comes from the drawing boards of Tim Heywood, with Laura Sessa tasked with creating her opulent and contemporary interior.
On board she accommodates up to 12 guests over five generous staterooms, including a large owner’s suite with a fold-down balcony and a steam room in the en-suite bathroom. A dedicated crew of 12 are also accommodated for on board.
A highly stable, safe and seaworthy oceangoing vessel, she combines functionality and performance with masculine good looks and inviting onboard spaces. Generous exterior decks include a large sundeck complete with Jacuzzi and backlit onyx bar for the ultimate space for entertainment.
Other amenities on board include a sky lounge cinema filled with oversized plush seating, a welcoming beach club and sauna area, and a dedicated dive equipment space ensuring underwater exploration in the world’s best destinations.
In regards to her performance, she is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M70 engines of 1408 hp each, giving her a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
She will be available for charter from €275,000 per week in the Western Mediterranean this summer before heading to the Caribbean and the Bahamas for the winter season.
