The ceremony was attended by sixty industry professionals including the team at Bristow Holmes as well as ER Yacht Design. Harry Bristow-Holmes of Bristow-Holmes states “Today is a remarkable day for myself and everyone involved in the project. Here we are, welding the first piece of the Gotham project into position and in less than 24 months’ time we’ll be delivering this truly iconic vessel to her very excited owner.”

Project Gotham is designed by ER Yacht Design from Canada who worked closely with the owner and his broker on the finer details of the project. Van Oossanen Naval Architects implemented their patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) that has been combined with Hull Vane technology to offer a remarkably efficient and comfortable journey at sea.

Icon Yachts CEO, Jen Wartena, commented: “This project has been one of the most innovative and exciting projects we have been involved in. It’s the culmination of a great deal of work spanning over 22 months since our initial discussions at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2015.”
