First Look: superyachts Kamino and Moon Sand Too cruising in Norway

Delivered to their respective owners in May this year, the two near-identical superyachts Kamino and Moon Sand Too recently were the stars of a photo shoot showing off the two limited edition Feadships cruising in the spectacular surroundings of the Norwegian Fjords. The two yachts were known as projects 691 and 693 during their construction with Bannenberg & Rowell having designed both of the yachts’ interiors and De Voogt Naval Architects operating as the exterior designers and platform developers for this unique project.

Feadship deemed the construction of such small-scale projects viable only after having received interest from at least three clients following a request from an existing Feadship owner in search of a Feadship-quality superyacht of more compact dimensions. “Before long another client contacted Feadship to say he would like to have something similar, albeit a metre longer. And the same process recently played out with another owner who also twisted our arm to build the fifth and final one,” explained company CEO Henk de Vries during the launch of the first project.
