American design studio JQB Design has recently announced their latest design commision for a new 53 metre tri-deck motor yacht. The 53 metre vessel will be built in the United States, with JQB Design being responsible for both the interior and exterior designs. No renderings of the project are yet available.
In addition, JQB is also overseeing the exterior and interior design of a new 145’ motor yacht currently under construction at Crescent Yachts in Richmond B.C., Canada, as well as working closely with a US client on the exterior and interior design for a custom 133’ Horizon motor yacht.
The Seattle based studio are also celebrating 20 years of business this year, establishing the company in 1995. Jonathan Barnett, the company’s founder, started his professional design career began in 1987 working with the renowned Jon Bannenberg of London. After nearly seven years of world class design experience, Jonathan returned to the US to launch his own design studio.
