The first Magellan from Kingship was rolled out of the building shed on 12 Apr 2007. The 33m Magellan, named Princess K, has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Her Dutch styling by Pieter Beeldsnijder, interior by Luiz Debasto and Naval Architecture plus engineering supplied by the renowned Vripack International created the foundation for the project initially.
With two 3406E DITA Caterpillar, Princess K can make 14 knots with a range of 5000 nm. Accommodation comprises a spacious master bedroom on main deck and 4 guest cabins. Princess K is also build to Lloyd’s + 100 A1 SSC yacht Mono G6 + LMC and MCA compliance. She will be delivered in June and be shown in the Fort Lauderdale boat show.
