Lamberto Tacoli headed for the leadership of UCINA

It has been rumoured that Azimut/Benetti, Ferretti and Baglietto are pushing for UCINA’s interim president in the upcoming elections following the organisation facing several difficult issues for some time. UCINA is the Italian superyacht industry’s Confindustria association which represents the companies in the sector.

The position of president was left vacant after Massimo Perotti of Sanlorenzo left the company. Current candidates include Andrea Razeto, Fabio Planamente, Pietro Vassena and Corrado Salvemini, who have all been criticised for lack of experience.

CEO of CRN, Lamberto Tacoli, acted as the Vice President at UCINA for a substantial period of time, and has temporarily assumed leadership of the association - a decision in which the major three Italian brands have supported and reportedly wish to continue.
