IYC (International Yacht Collection, LLC.), is pleased to welcome a new captain, Capt. Mauricio Orozco, to the M/Y Mucho Mas, one of the yachts in their charter fleet.

Born in Bogota, Colombia, Mauricio fulfilled his military service and then went on to attend the "Universidad De Los Andes" receiving his Bachelors Degree in Anthropology. During this time he became a certified PADI dive instructor. He then relocated to Vancouver, Canada studied and obtained his commercial dive certification.

Warmer waters brought him to the Bahamas where he transitioned from dive instructor to engineer/1st mate on sailing vessels as well as motor yachts. Mauricio further his career in the yachting industry by becoming a marine diesel mechanic and then a licensed 200ton MCA Captain. He has over 5 years experience has a licensed engineer and Captain, and has spent over 12 years diving in the Caribbean and the Bahamas After 2 years aboard the motor yacht Muchos Mas as engineer / co-Captain, he's taken over as Captain.

Mo is sport orientated and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including kite surfing, paragliding, underwater photography, and free diving.
