The new Delta 66 metre motor yacht is being built for an American family, with an ice-strengthened steel hull and composite superstructure and is expected to be delivered in 2013. The yacht is designed by Delta Design Group with interior design by Johnson, Wen, Mulder Architecture and Diane Johnson Design.

The yacht will have two elevators namely one owner elevator and a trolley elevator for the crew. The owner elevator from Lift Emotion C-line is a proven and well known system ensuring the yard and client a trouble free and safe usage through the life span of the yacht. The hydraulic elevator with an electronically controlled steering valve ensures a smooth and pleasant ride.

Special attention is given to maximize the cabin’s size and to allow the interior finish as per the design demands of the designer. The elevator will be traveling from main till bridge deck. The elevator has central opening sliding cabin and landing doors with special allowance for interior cladding on the inside of the door entrance to match the system with the deck’s surroundings.

The yacht will also have a big size trolley elevator suitable to transport a special heated trolley over 5 decks. The cabin size is maximized to allow a Vulcan VHP15 trolley inside it. The trolley also has special A60 hinged elevator doors. The cabin will be hoisted by means of a drum drive placed adjacent of the trunk at the lowest deck.
