Presented to Feadship de Vries at the 2008 Monaco Yacht Show as a conceptual design for the Sl39 series, Lila-Lou London has developed an authentic Art-Deco interior using the work of historic designer Paul Dupre-Lafon as inspiration for the design of architectural details and custom furniture shapes.
Dark Mahogany contrasts with lightly limed Oak joinery and parchment accents, custom light fittings are in polished brass & leather, fabrics are neutral soft linens, chenille, and silks highlighted with vibrant stripes, the overall effect being comfortable yet functional, yachty but contemporary.
The more conventional static interior visuals can be viewed on the Sl39 sub-site, however the “time-lapse” animation seen here was produced to demonstrate the change of mood in the Main Saloon & Dining areas as the yacht goes from day to night. Animations of this kind, support by traditional type renderings are offered as a standard within Lila-Lou’s conceptual design fee.

Currently, they are planning conceptual interior design schemes for a block of 181 apartments in Los Angeles, California, and the re-styling of a private house on Lake Geneva, Switzerland.
