RMK Marine has just revealed a new 55 metre explorer superyacht designed with Hot Lab Design.
On board she accommodates up to 12 guests over several impressive cabins, including an expansive owner’s suite on the upper deck forward, two VIP cabins on the main deck, and an additional two VIP cabins on the lower deck as well as a twin cabin with additional Pullman berth. A crew of 16 are also accommodated for on board.
Enrico Lumini of Hot Lab Design comments on the conception of the project: “The conversation about the 55 metre XXL really started back when Hot Lab Design and RMK Marine were working together on the RMK 5000 model. Many of the exciting and innovative features that we conceived then have been brought into this new concept. You can still see many of our signature details both from designer and yard, however, making an unmistakable mark.”

Performance wise, she will be powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines, and will offer a range of up to 6,000 nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots. Engine configuration can be catered to the prospective owner’s personal wishes.
Building work on the vessel is already well underway, with completed steel hull construction and developed engineering. Currently offered for sale, the XXL offers an attractive opportunity for a buyer looking for all the advantages of a custom explorer superyacht with a substantially reduced build time.
