Andreas Liveras and Nikos Dafnias of Alpha Marine Designs are proud to announce further details of the refit of Constellation.
On deck 5 a new owner’s cabin will be constructed, extending to 95 m2 with a private side balcony of approximately 11 m2.
The aft deck on the 4th deck will be reconstructed in order to create an exterior dining and lounging area. A boat deck is created on the 5th aft deck. This will accommodate the new speed boats (10 m luxury limousine, 9 m inflatable, 2 x 6 m inflatable, jet skis etc.) and the appropriate tender davits.
Deck 6 is extended thus creating a sun deck with exquisite views of the Jacuzzi with fitting awnings and umbrellas. It will also have suitable sitting and sunbathing furniture. A new superstructure is created on deck 6 which will accommodate a health and beauty center. This will include a big sauna, steam bath, aromatherapy room, gym and a relaxing observation saloon with an amazing view.
On the exterior deck a large bar will be constructed, and in front of the saloon there will also be a sun bathing area with suitable equipment (furniture, deck chairs etc.).
The bow of the vessel will be fully remodeled, a new deck with teak lining is constructed over the mooring deck and also a new helideck.
The interventions are made in all areas (masts, fashion plates, funnel, new main masts, grilles etc.) so as to have a new aesthetic result.
Externally there will be new operational and decorative lighting while all the navigation and communication instruments and the antennas will be re-arranged. New teak decks, new stainless steel rails etc. will be fitted on the new and the old decks.
Finally, the vessel will be painted (filling, fairing, painting) to superyacht quality with Awl-grip and Siekens systems.”
Constellation will commence her refit on 10 September 2007 and be available for charter from 1 May 2008 in the South of France.
