Major Italian shipyards return to UCINA

Three major Italian shipyards have returned to UCINA, the Italian superyacht industry’s Confindustria association which represents the companies in the sector. The involvement of major brands Azimut/Benetti, Ferretti and Baglietto comes after UCINA has been facing critical issues over the past several months, culminating in the departure of the Sanlorenzo shipyard from the group.

The three companies now intend to re-affirm UCINA's status. As The Meditelegraph states, the intentions will be to first unify the association, work towards representing all of the industry segments and promote the Made In Italy brand hand in hand with Italian yachting.
